PTR Global is seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead planning, coordination and installation of technology infrastructure that will transform our client’s employee and client experiences.

Qualifications

• Requires 10–12 years of technology project management experience.
• Experience with network installations and data center builds.
• Experience with Cisco hardware and vendor coordination.
• Knowledge of cabling and core network infrastructure.
• Experience with project lifecycle of network integrations and real estate builds.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning, coordination and installation of technology infrastructure for Wealth Management Branch offices across NY and US.
• Coordinate and implement delivery plans for new core network infrastructure.
• Gather requirements and manage deployment schedules with engineering and operations.
• Procure hardware and manage vendor deliveries, staging and delays.
• Provide weekly status reports and coordinate UAT testers and BAU signoffs.

About the Position:

• Seeking an Infrastructure Project Manager to lead the planning, coordination and installation of technology infrastructure that will transform client’s employee and client experiences.
• The role involves the build of Wealth Management Branch offices throughout NY and greater US.
• This includes the coordination and installation of voice and data hardware and infrastructure cabling.
• The candidate will be responsible for gathering requirements and organizing and coordinating the deployment plan of new core network infrastructure.
• This role will lead to the network build, expansion, renovation and/or closure of branch offices.

Requirements:

• Comfortable working on-standard business hours [Friday evenings / Saturdays]
• Ability to work on-site 3 days per week
• 10 to 12 years of technology project management experience
• Branch office build, network core infrastructure, switches and routers.
• Experience withCisco hardware and understands how to partner with vendors for installation.
• Experience with network installations
• Experience with project lifecycle of network integrations, infrastructure build, data center builds and/or corporate real estate construction projects including floor build outs and business relocations.
• Understanding of cabling, corporate services, cable management
• Plan, coordinate, implement, and track deliverables related to the request.
• Gather technology requirements and partner with engineering and operations for high level design.
• Develop, track and coordinate schedule
• Procure hardware and manage deliveries and delays with vendors, including staging.
• Create and Manage the Technology Change Management tickets
• Provide weekly status reports both internally and externally, as required.
• Schedule UAT testers and BAU signoffs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Visio, and Project.
• Strong Excel, SharePoint, MS project, ServiceNow Skills.

Skills Desired:

• CCNA and/or CCNP preferred
• WAN, LAN
• Bachelor’s Degree +
• Must have experience within financial services and/or technical role at a technology hardware vendor.
• Data Center Builds, Consolidations, Decommissions
• Technical delivery, implementation management
• Kanban and Agile experience

The specific compensation for this position will be determined by a number of factors, including the scope, complexity and location of the role as well as the cost of labor in the market; the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate; and other conditions of employment.
