Job summary

PrecisionX Group seeks an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to lead enterprise IT across six manufacturing locations. You will design, implement, secure, and manage lifecycle across servers, AD, 365, Entra ID, and SQL Server while ensuring CMMC 2.0, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and ITAR compliance.

The role covers cloud migration, vendor coordination, plant-floor tech support, and strong incident response.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent.
• 5+ years managing enterprise infrastructure in a multi-site environment.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, AD, M365, Entra ID, Intune, Azure Government, VMware/Hyper-V, and SQL Server administration.
• Experience managing enterprise networking platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco.
• Experience supporting endpoint management and mobile device management.
• Experience leading infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, and IT security projects.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, compliance frameworks (NIST, CMMC, DFARS, ITAR).

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise infrastructure including Windows Server, AD, Entra ID, M365, Azure Government, virtualization, storage, SQL Server, backup, and DR.
• Administer and support SQL Server environments, backups, performance, security, and ERP/vendor coordination.
• Administer enterprise networking including Fortinet, switches, VPNs, and secure remote access.
• Ensure high availability of infrastructure for manufacturing operations, ERP, and applications.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to support plant floor technologies and IoT devices.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, cloud migrations, and technology projects across facilities.
• Develop lifecycle roadmaps for servers, networking, endpoints, and cloud services.
• Lead cybersecurity operations, incident response, vulnerability assessments, patch management, and email security.
• Design secure CUI enclaves in Azure Government with compliance to CMMC 2.0, NIST 800-171, DFARS, ITAR.
• Coordinate with MSPs/MSSPs and vendors to support initiatives.
• Monitor performance, SQL health, security posture, and capacity; document and maintain inventories.

PrecisionX Group is seeking an experienced IT Infrastructure & Security Manager to lead the design, implementation, security, and lifecycle management of the company's enterprise IT infrastructure across six manufacturing locations. This hands-on leadership role is responsible for ensuring the availability, performance, and security of infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations, ERP systems, engineering, Microsoft SQL Server databases, and corporate services while maintaining compliance with CMMC Level 2, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and ITAR requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise infrastructure including Windows Server, Active Directory, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft 365, Azure Government, virtualization, storage, Microsoft SQL Server databases, backup, and disaster recovery solutions.
• Administer and support Microsoft SQL Server environments, including database maintenance, backups, performance monitoring, security, troubleshooting, and coordination with ERP and application vendors to ensure optimal database availability and performance.
• Administer enterprise networking including Fortinet firewalls, switches, wireless infrastructure, VPNs, network segmentation, and secure remote access.
• Ensure high availability of infrastructure supporting manufacturing operations, engineering, ERP systems (Infor Visual preferred), Microsoft SQL Server databases, production environments, and business-critical applications.
• Partner with Manufacturing Engineering to support plant floor technologies, barcode systems, wireless connectivity, industrial networking, and connected/IoT manufacturing equipment.
• Lead infrastructure modernization, cloud migration, and technology implementation projects across multiple manufacturing facilities.
• Develop infrastructure lifecycle roadmaps for servers, networking equipment, endpoints, cloud services, and enterprise technology platforms.
• Lead cybersecurity operations, including incident response, forensic investigations, vulnerability assessments, remediation prioritization, patch management, endpoint security, identity protection, DLP, and email security.
• Design and maintain secure infrastructure supporting CUI enclaves within Microsoft Azure Government while ensuring compliance with CMMC Level 2, NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and ITAR requirements.
• Coordinate with MSPs, MSSPs, vendors, and consultants to support infrastructure and security initiatives.
• Monitor infrastructure performance, SQL Server health, security posture, capacity, and availability while continuously improving reliability and operational efficiency.
• Maintain infrastructure documentation, network diagrams, security standards, disaster recovery procedures, database documentation, asset inventories, and technical documentation.
• Assist with technology budgeting, hardware procurement, licensing, and strategic infrastructure planning.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing enterprise infrastructure in a multi-site environment.
• Strong experience with Windows Server, Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, Azure Government, VMware and/or Hyper-V, and Microsoft SQL Server administration.
• Experience managing enterprise networking platforms such as Fortinet, Palo Alto, or Cisco.
• Experience supporting endpoint management, Autopilot, and mobile device management.
• Experience leading infrastructure upgrades, cloud migrations, SQL Server administration, and enterprise technology projects.
• Strong understanding of cybersecurity, vulnerability management, networking, disaster recovery, and compliance frameworks.
• Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, communication, and project management skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience supporting manufacturing, aerospace, or defense organizations.
• Experience supporting ERP systems in manufacturing environments (Infor Visual preferred), including Microsoft SQL Server database administration and application support.
• Experience with Microsoft GCC High and Azure Government environments.
• Experience supporting CMMC Level 2 assessments and audit preparation.
• Working knowledge of NIST SP 800-171, DFARS, and ITAR requirements.
• Experience working with MSPs and MSSPs in regulated environments.
