Zimmerman Advertising is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer to design, implement, and support the technology backbone that powers our business operations. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable, secure infrastructure.

The role covers data center, cloud, storage, networking, and virtualization platforms, ensuring high availability and resilience for mission-critical services across the enterprise.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5+ years enterprise engineering experience in lieu of a degree.
• 3+ years of engineering experience working with enterprise class server infrastructure.
• 2-3 years of professional experience managing virtualized server environments.
• Hands-on VMware experience and data center hardware design/validation.
• Strong Linux and Windows server administration and vendor coordination.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the full scope of server infrastructure in production and data center environments.
• Design, implement, and maintain VMware virtualization to support enterprise workloads.
• Lead hardware development initiatives from concept to deployment with stakeholders.
• Execute data center deployments and troubleshoot to ensure high availability.
• Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to optimize costs and deliver solutions.
