Job summary

Rehmann is seeking an IT Infrastructure Engineer who can provision, monitor, and decommission cloud services while automating infrastructure through scripting. The role requires strong experience with Microsoft 365 admin, Exchange, and multi‑tier architectures across servers, databases, and networking.

The ideal candidate will interface with vendors, implement Infrastructure as Code, and contribute to security, audits, and uptime.

Job Summary:

Knowledge of skills required to provision, manage, monitor, and decommission cloud services. The IT Infrastructure Engineer role requires knowledge and experience around technologies and techniques for automating provision and management of infrastructure in a distributed environment through scripting.

Essential Duties/Responsibilities:

Microsoft 365 admin with Exchange Experience.Acquire, configure, and maintain development, test, and production servers. Support development, test, and production servers including after-hours support and monitoring server usage and up-time.Interface with vendors to obtain required equipment and software in a timely manner while ensuring proper audit and budget controls are met.Strong scripting skillset.Multi-tier architectures: load balancers, caching, web servers, application servers, databases, and networking.Designs, implements, and maintains high performing, highly available systems to meet the firms functional and cost requirements, as defined by the overall system architecture specifications and in accordance with the service level and/or operation level agreements and established best practices.Familiarity developing with RESTful API interfaces.Basic understanding of relational and non-relational databases.Familiarity with messaging and queuing services.Infrastructure as Code: design and security, configuration management, integration, deployment, performance monitoring and tuning, automation of infrastructure.Provide technical and procedural direction to the company for the actual implementation of the network servers used, as well as interface with internal users, development personnel and other technical staff.Provide direction in complex problem-solving situations and participate in direct interaction with internal staff as required. Identify process improvement opportunities achievable through the optimum use of the servers.Build and maintain material describing activity levels and possible next steps required for each server. Act as liaison for internal and external communications directly with departments as required.
