Responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the server, software, and network resources that support an organization’s IT environment utilizing best practice in line with industry standards. Provide daily IT operational support to ensure business continuity and success identifying area of improvement.

Accountabilities

• Improve network architecture to support Operation Technology expansion and growth
• Establish naming conventions for network, Wi‑Fi, servers, etc.
• Collaborate in the definition of infrastructure standards
• Design Backup and Disaster Recovery plan for all Mfg. locations
• Support manufacturing operation providing high availability infrastructure
• Provide hands on desktop support to plant users
• Perform proper firmware/software update on equipment in accordance with company and vendor requirement
• Successful optimization of datacenter layout and connections
• Helps identify potential bottlenecks and overutilized network segments.
• Analysis of current resource usage versus future needs.
• Support Tickets resolution times within OLA and SLA’s
• Increase customers satisfaction.

Skills Needed to Be Successful

5+ years of related work experience

Knowledge of storage, servers and Hypervisor (VMWare preferred)

Knowledge of routing firewalls, routers, OOB and switching.

Technical certifications from Cisco, Palo Alto, AWS are encouraged

Understanding of manufacturing operations.

Incident and Problem management, ITSM. Automation

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong troubleshooting and self-starter
