Job summary

Glocomms is partnering with a leading Electrical Equipment Manufacturing company to recruit a Director of IT Infrastructure in Chicago. This leader will own the enterprise IT strategy, drive modernization across on-prem and cloud environments, and guide cybersecurity and IT service delivery to support manufacturing operations.

Responsibilities include leading cloud migrations, managing budgets and vendors, and ensuring scalable, secure infrastructure for business-critical applications.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field.
• 10+ years managing information systems with 5-7 years of leadership.
• Strong hybrid cloud and cybersecurity background.
• Experience with Azure, AWS, Entra ID, Intune.
• Experience in manufacturing/industrial environments.

Responsibilities

• Own the enterprise IT infrastructure strategy, roadmap, and modernization.
• Lead hybrid operations across on-prem, private, and public clouds.
• Drive performance, resiliency, and optimization of networking, compute, storage.
• Lead cloud migrations, governance, and cost optimization.
• Oversee IAM, PAM, Zero Trust, and endpoint security.
• Manage ITIL/ITSM governance, SLAs, and incident/change processes.
