Job summary

Qualifications

• Must have proven IT Asset Management experience with hardware, software, and software licensing.
• Mandatory experience with ServiceNow CMDB.
• Strong knowledge of software licensing models, contractual terms, and compliance requirements.
• Experience working with Procurement and Legal teams.
• IAITAM CSAM or CITAM certification required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement IT Asset Management (ITAM) strategies, policies, and best practices.
• Maintain and validate CMDB and IT asset inventory accuracy.
• Manage hardware and software asset lifecycles, licensing, renewals, and compliance.
• Conduct regular asset audits and software license compliance reviews.
• Ensure alignment with NY-DFS, CIS standards, and organizational policies.
• Prepare reports on asset utilization, licensing compliance, lifecycle management, and cost optimization.
• Collaborate with Procurement, Legal, IT, Information Security, and business stakeholders.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate licensing agreements to maximize value and reduce costs.
• Maintain documentation, procedures, and compliance records.
