Job summary

ClarityPay, Inc. is seeking a Manager of IT & Information Security to build and run the technology backbone of our fintech.

This on-site role in New York will own IT, identity, endpoint, email security, and security governance, with four days per week in the office and collaboration across Engineering, Risk, Compliance, Legal, and People. You will consolidate disparate security processes, lead SOC 2 and PCI DSS readiness, and manage vendor contracts while guiding a growing team as the company

Qualifications

• Hands-on IT operations and security ownership across endpoints and corporate systems.
• Experience supporting SOC 2 and PCI DSS audits with evidence gathering.
• Strong familiarity with NIST CSF / CIS Controls in financial services.
• Experience in fintech or regulated environments preferred.
• Ability to work independently in a fast-growth startup.

Responsibilities

• Own end-to-end IT operations for the company, including procurement, imaging, deployment, inventory, and decommissioning across NY and Atlanta.
• Own identity and access management: provision/deprovision, SSO/MFA, least-privilege, access reviews.
• Administer SaaS and business systems stack (MS 365, email, Slack, Retool, HRIS, e-signature) with config and spend management.
• Manage corporate email setup, distribution lists, aliases, and anti-phishing controls.
• Oversee endpoint security: MDM enrollment, disk encryption, patching, EDR/antivirus, baseline configs.
• Run day-to-day help desk with SLAs and root-cause analysis for recurring issues.
• Onboard/offboard employees from IT/security POV: day-1 readiness and exit access removal.
• Lead information security operations: monitoring, incident response, tabletop exercises, post-incident reviews.
• Produce controls and audit evidence for SOC 2, PCI DSS, and partner-bank reviews.
• Lead third-party/vendor security reviews and maintain risk documentation.
• Write and maintain IT/security policies, standards, runbooks, and training.
• Manage office/network infrastructure for NY and support Atlanta remotely.
• Own vendor/MSP relationships and IT budget forecasting for growth.
• Build a scalable IT/security roadmap oriented to proactive risk management.
• Enable safe AI adoption with guardrails and usage guidelines.
• Report IT/security posture to executives in clear terms.
• Perform other duties or special projects as assigned.
• Promote ClarityPay values and integrity.
