Job summary

People, Technology & Processes is seeking an IT/IA Program Manager I to deliver advanced IM/IT and IA support at Fort Detrick, Frederick, MD. The role requires RMF certification, IAVM compliance, STIG assessments, and DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I baseline certification. You will administer Group Policy, Ghost imaging, and support EGS/eBRAP systems.

Qualifications

• DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I baseline certification (CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE, or Security+ CE) at time of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform IAVM compliance, verification, dissemination, and reporting (ACAS).
• Provide technical assistance for network administration, incident handling and reporting, and IA/security awareness training.
• Track compliance requirements for CDMRP systems and develop IA documentation, COOP, and CM plans.
• In-process/out-process CDMRP staff for network access.
• Ensure periodic security inspections, STIG compliance, and reporting of violations and incidents.
• Provide Tier 3 senior IM/IT expertise for troubleshooting, system configuration, deployment, maintenance, and destruction.
• Administer Microsoft Group Policy, Symantec Ghost Server imaging, and end-user device support.
• Support DoD IT systems (EGS and eBRAP) with annual documentation updates.

Position Title: IT/IA Program Manager IILocation: Fort Detrick, Frederick, MDClearance required: ADP III (IT-III) designation minimum per DoD 5200.02; favorable National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI); U.S. citizenship required for .mil domain access.Scope of Work: Provides advanced-level information management and technology (IM/IT) and information assurance (IA) support to the CDMRP, including Risk Management Framework (RMF) certification, FISMA compliance, IAVM, and senior IT support.Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):Perform Information Assurance Vulnerability Management (IAVM) compliance, verification, dissemination, and reporting (e.g., ACAS).Provide technical assistance for network administration, incident handling and reporting, and IA/security awareness training.Track compliance requirements for CDMRP systems and develop IA documentation, a Continuity of Operations Plan (COOP), and Configuration Management plans.In-process and out-process CDMRP staff for network access.Ensure periodic security inspections, assessments, and STIG compliance and report security violations and incidents.Provide Tier 3 senior IM/IT expertise for troubleshooting, system configuration, and equipment deployment, maintenance, and destruction.Ensure CDMRP information systems are certified and accredited under RMF before operation.Administer Microsoft Group Policy, Symantec Ghost Server imaging, and end-user device support.Provide support for Defense Business Certified business systems (EGS and eBRAP), including annual documentation updates.Ability to provide advanced-level IT assistance in a secured information environment and senior-level consulting for IT and IA effortsAbility to develop IA documentation for government customersThorough working knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, including policy testing and production administration via the Group Policy Management ConsoleThorough working knowledge of Symantec Ghost Server and Information Assurance Vulnerability ManagementDoD 8570.01-M IAT Level I baseline certification (CompTIA A+ CE, Network+ CE, or Security+ CE) at time of hire, with enrollment in continuing educationComputing Environment (CE) commercial certification, separate from the IA baseline certificationAble to perform with little to no instruction or oversightU.S. citizenship; able to obtain a favorable NACI and ADP III designation
