Job summary

Millennium Space Systems, a Boeing Company, is seeking a qualified IT Help Desk professional to manage tickets, respond to customers, and diagnose issues on the 2nd shift. You will use Service Now, assist new employees, and escalate where needed.

The role requires a technical degree or 2+ years in a help desk, Windows 10/11 on Dell machines, strong organization, and US citizenship with ability to obtain security clearance. No relocation required and shift flexibility may apply.

Qualifications

• Technical degree or 2+ years of experience working in a help desk role.

• Proficiency with Dell Computers utilizing Windows 10/11.
• Highly organized with strong ability to keep Help Desk tickets in order.
• This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship.

Responsibilities

• Manage Help Desk tickets in a timely and organized manner using Service Now ticketing system.
• Responds to customer issues via phone, email, and computer chat to provide customer assistance.
• Documenting customer interactions
• Run diagnostics to resolve customer reported issues
• Experience supporting new employee (Onboarding)
• Escalate issues as needed to the next Tier of IT support
• Install, make changes, and repair computer hardware and software
• Follow up with customers to ensure issues are resolved
• The ability to lift 25 pounds

Physical Demands of the Work Environment

• The employee is occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and the ability to adjust focus.

Summary pay range:Level 2: $62,050 – $91,250

Millennium is DDTC-registered, ITAR-compliant Company. This position is located at a facility that requires special access. Applicants MUST be U.S. citizens and eligible for a security clearance.
