Dogwood Industries LLC in Sedro-Woolley, WA is seeking an IT Help Desk Technician for a 100% on-site role supporting Sedro-Woolley, Everett, and Bothell sites. You will manage tickets, set up devices, and maintain user accounts to keep daily operations running smoothly.

The role requires 1–2 years in IT support, hands-on AD/365/Entra ID, Windows 11, ERP familiarity, SolidWorks/PDM, and strong communication/documentation skills. Travel between sites is required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of help desk or IT support experience.
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Exchange Online.
• Experience supporting Windows 11 devices and user accounts.
• Experience provisioning/troubleshooting mobile devices (iPhone preferred).
• Familiarity with ERP platforms and supporting business systems.
• SolidWorks and PDM installation/troubleshooting experience.

• Support Entra ID (Azure AD) for MFA and Conditional Access.
• Assist with backups, data migrations, and device transitions.
• Provide basic troubleshooting for networking gear and patch panels.
• Maintain hardware/software asset tracking and IT documentation.
• Escalate complex issues to senior IT team.

General Job Description

Dogwood Industries is seeking a dependable and tech-savvy IT Help Desk Technician to provide frontline IT support across our Sedro-Woolley, Everett, and Bothell locations. This 100% on-site role is critical to ensuring smooth day-to-day technology operations for our team members. The ideal candidate will manage incoming support tickets, handle device setups, maintain user accounts and documentation, and elevate complex issues. Your work will allow our IT team to focus on strategic initiatives and infrastructure improvements that support our rapid growth.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Manage and resolve incoming support tickets via our RMM platform (e.g., NinjaOne)
• Provide face-to-face and remote technical support for Windows 11 laptops/desktops
• Provision and support iPhones; coordinate with cellular providers
• Perform employee onboarding/offboarding:
• Device configuration and setup
• User account provisioning and deactivation
• Managing permissions in Active Directory, Microsoft 365, ERP, and internal platforms
• Install, configure, and troubleshoot SolidWorks and PDM
• Administer Exchange Online: shared mailboxes, calendars, distribution lists
• Support Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD) for MFA, Conditional Access, and user management
• Assist with backups, device transitions, and data migrations
• Provide basic troubleshooting for Ubiquiti UniFi networking gear (APs, switches, firewalls)
• Perform network cabling and patch panel work
• Support Microsoft Intune for device policy and app deployment
• Maintain accurate hardware/software asset tracking
• Create and update IT documentation (setup guides, procedures, configs, etc.)
• Escalate complex issues to the senior IT team
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements

• 1-2 years of experience in a help desk or IT support role
• Experience with Active Directory, Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Azure AD), and Exchange Online
• Skilled in supporting Windows 11 devices and user account management
• Experience provisioning and troubleshooting mobile devices (iPhones preferred)
• Familiarity with ERP platforms and supporting business systems
• SolidWorks and PDM installation/troubleshooting experience
• Valid driver's license and ability to travel between Dogwood sites (mileage reimbursed)
• Strong communication, task tracking, and documentation skills

Requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with Microsoft Intune for device management
• Familiarity with Ubiquiti UniFi networks and basic troubleshooting
• Exposure to ERP platforms with user/permissions configuration
• PowerShell scripting or automation knowledge
• CompTIA A+, Microsoft Fundamentals, or equivalent certifications
• Awareness of CUI (Controlled Unclassified Information) environments or secure IT practices

Physical Requirements/Work Environment

This position requires moderate physical activity, primarily in an office environment but may include visits to the manufacturing facilities or jobsites to collaborate and inspect materials. To perform the essential functions of this job, the employee is regularly seated at a computer desk with the option to stand, is utilizing the telephone frequently, and participating in meetings with colleagues, clients, third party vendors, etc. There are stairs in the office. In the factory setting, you may inspect and handle materials and be exposed to shop elements such as noise, dust, fumes, and odors.

Compensation

$27.00 - $41.00 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications.

Location
