Job Description

As a member of Firespring’s IT team, you’ll be expected to work closely with all departments across the company finding innovative ways for our team members to fix their computer problems and work more efficiently. Tasks & Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and fix computers, printers and other technical resources. If it plugs into the wall and it's not working, then you’re the person we will call.
  • Build and deploy computers and track IT inventory and assets.
  • Good understanding of client-server concepts will be needed to help manage and maintain various server applications.
  • Assist in setting up and managing switches, firewalls and wireless networks.
  • Work closely with vendors and build relationships with our technical partners.

Qualifications

  • A combination of at least 1-2 years of experience and/or education in desktop support, networking and/or Salesforce or database administration.
  • You’re a problem solver. Nothing pushes your buttons quite like pushing the right buttons to fix something that was broken.
  • Technology you don’t understand doesn’t intimidate you. Instead, you’re compelled to master it.
  • You can help somebody with their Mac as easily as you can their PC.
  • You understand enough about networking to know it’s all just 1s and 0s.
  • While installing and upgrading software is part of your day, the real fun is in helping people use it.
