Job summary

Rhythm is hiring an IT G&A Business Analyst to support G&A systems including Legal, HR and Procure-to-Pay workflows. You will gather requirements, manage external partners, coordinate testing, and drive process improvements within a global, audited environment.

The role emphasizes collaboration with cross-functional leads and senior leadership. You will work in a hybrid model with occasional in-office work in Boston, contributing to major applications like IronClad, Coupa, MediSpend and ADP

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field.
  • 3–5 years supporting G&A IT applications such as IronClad, Coupa, MediSpend and ADP.
  • Experience in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry.
  • Strong MS Office skills; familiarity with Smartsheet or MS Project preferred.
  • Ability to multitask across multiple business areas.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

  • Gather business and technical requirements via interviews and workshops.
  • Coordinate with external partners to support requirements and testing.
  • Ensure compliance and support internal/external audits.
  • Lead test scripts, user testing and user documentation.

Opportunity Overview

Reporting to the Director IT Business Partner General and Administrative (G&A), Rhythm is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT G&A Business Analyst to join the Information Technology team. This role will be responsible for supporting IT initiatives relating to G&A functions focusing on Legal, HR and Procurement activities. Among the technology solutions in this area are Ironclad Contracts Management, Coupa Procure to Pay platform and Porzio Transparency Spend. The responsibilities of this role include supporting the implementation and maintenance of systems in this area in a global environment. This role will align with appropriate business functions to ensure Rhythm has a stable, robust and scalable set of applications to support growing business needs. This scope also includes working internally to ensure compliance and working closely with internal and external auditors to support that compliance.

Responsibilities And Duties
  • Prompt and develop business and technical requirements using interviews and workshops, document analysis, and business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis
  • Participate in managing external partners in support of these requirements
  • Coordinate issue resolution with internal and external support partners
  • Support HCP Engagement and Global Compliance activities
  • Support change management and governance activities by partnering with the business to ensure new items are tested and implemented per our systems life cycle to meet the business needs
  • Lead test script creation, user testing, and user documentation for systems
  • Ensure appropriate IT processes, procedures and standards are followed
  • Actively contributes to the development of IT processes, tools, and standards
  • Develop and foster effective relationships between the business, partners, and Rhythm IT
  • Responsible for assisting in the successful implementation and support of Rhythm systems
  • Communicate and interact with cross-functional leads and team members as well as senior leadership on status and risks among other topics
  • Influence our overall strategy to enable our technology to drive results through change management skills
  • Work on other processes / functions, technologies and projects based on the overall company priorities and as needed
Qualifications And Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field
  • 3-5 years of experience working with a combination of G&A business applications such as IronClad, Coupa, MediSpend, and ADP or similar platforms
  • Experience supporting applications within the pharmaceutical/biotech industry
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite (Excel, Word and PowerPoint); Familiarity with Smartsheet or MS Project preferred
  • Ability to multitask - effectively manage work requests across multiple business areas
  • Strong customer service orientation
  • Strong analytical skills including a thorough understanding of how to interpret customer business needs and translate them into application and operational requirements
  • Passion and excitement for driving technology forward toward a goal of helping patients with rare, unmet medical needs
  • Ability to work independently and have strong ability to influence outcomes, working in a "hands on" capacity as needed
  • Ensure a welcoming partner-based environment throughout the company as it pertains to technology areas
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills (written and verbal)
Work Location

Rhythm operates in a hybrid-work model. Candidates applying must be willing and able to be in the Boston office in coordination with their department and business needs.

Salary and Benefits

The expected salary range for this position is $110,000 - $165,000. Actual pay will be determined based on experience, level, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law. A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and company performance. This role may be eligible for benefits and other compensation such as restricted stock units.
