ProAmpac is seeking an IT Functional Analyst – Manufacturing Systems to optimize plant operations across North America. You will bridge manufacturing and IT, analyze processes, gather requirements, and implement solutions with ERP, MES, CMMS, and QMS integrations.

As we continue to invest in our digital transformation journey, we are seeking an IT Functional Analyst – Manufacturing Systems to support and enhance the technology solutions that power our manufacturing operations across North America. This is a highly collaborative role where you will work directly with plant teams, operations leaders, and IT stakeholders to improve system performance, process efficiency, and data visibility across our manufacturing network.
This is a remote opportunity for candidates located in the United States.
Partner with manufacturing operations, engineering, and IT teams to analyze business processes and identify technology solutions.
Gather requirements and translate business needs into functional specifications and system recommendations.
Support and enhance manufacturing applications across multiple facilities.
Assist with integrations between ERP, MES, CMMS, QMS, automation, and related manufacturing systems.
Participate in system implementations, upgrades, testing, deployment activities, and post-go-live support.
Troubleshoot functional and integration issues while partnering with technical teams to drive resolution.
Lead workshops and discussions with plant stakeholders to identify process improvement opportunities.
Support standardization initiatives and continuous improvement efforts across manufacturing operations.
Contribute to digital manufacturing and Industry 4.0 initiatives involving analytics, automation, IIoT, and connected manufacturing technologies.
Required Qualifications:
4+ years of experience supporting manufacturing systems, manufacturing operations, IT functional analysis, or related roles.
Strong hands‑on understanding of manufacturing operations, production workflows, and plant‑floor processes.
Proven experience gathering requirements, conducting process mapping, and developing functional specifications.
Experience supporting manufacturing applications and/or ERP manufacturing functionality.
Experience working with integrated manufacturing systems and business applications.
Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem‑solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively with both operational and technical stakeholders.
Experience with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES), particularly Inductive Automation Ignition.
Experience supporting ERP systems within a manufacturing environment.
Familiarity with CMMS, QMS, production scheduling, or manufacturing analytics platforms.
Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.
Experience supporting multi‑site manufacturing operations.
