Job summary

FinOps Weekly in Gilbert, AZ is seeking an IT Financial Management Analyst for a fully onsite role. You will partner across IT, Finance, and business leadership to optimize IT spend, build financial models, and drive cost transparency. Salary ranges from $70k to $90k depending on experience and local market.

You will manage OpEx/CapEx budgets, develop TCO models, and deliver regular reporting on IT consumption. Local candidates in the East Valley or Dallas metro area preferred.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree required in Finance, Accounting, Business or IT.
  • 3–5 years of IT financial management, procurement or financial operations experience.
  • Advanced Excel skills including modeling, pivot tables and lookups.
  • Experience with SaaS agreements, contracts or MSAs.
  • Familiarity with ITSM or asset management tools like ServiceNow or Freshservice.
  • Strong communication skills to present insights to leadership.

Responsibilities

  • Drive IT financial planning and insight.
  • Partner with IT and Finance to build, manage, and track OpEx and CapEx budgets.
  • Perform monthly variance analysis and identify cost optimization opportunities.
  • Develop TCO models to support new technology investments and cloud initiatives.
  • Improve cost transparency and accountability within IT spend.
  • Own and enhance IT chargeback and showback models.
  • Deliver clear reporting to business leaders on IT consumption and spend.
  • Optimize cloud and SaaS spend (FinOps) and monitor Azure usage.
  • Identify anomalies, waste, and optimization opportunities.
  • Track SaaS usage and renewals to eliminate unused licenses and reduce redundancy.
  • Manage vendors and contracts; maintain a centralized IT contract repository.
  • Renewals, renegotiations and sourcing opportunities; support procurement.
  • Reconcile invoices and resolve discrepancies; align financial data with IT asset inventory.
  • Support IT asset management growth and potential M&A cost analyses.
