Job summary

Gr8ttek is seeking a part-time Field Specialist to join its Infrastructure Delivery team in Greenville, SC. The role focuses on hardware break-fix work across client products, requiring basic to moderately complex troubleshooting and adherence to guidelines.

The position reports to the Territory Supervisor and involves handling service calls, administrative tasks, and asset control. Candidates should be able to lift up to 50 lbs and have reliable transportation.

Qualifications

• Typically requires technical school certification or equivalent and 1–2 years of relevant experience.
• Ability to drive yourself to client locations and lift/move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation with insurance.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer break-fix support for designated equipment.
• Communicate clearly in written and verbal form.
• Possess excellent customer service skills.
• Accept and deliver all service calls assigned.
• Complete all administrative tasks associated with each call.
• Responsible for control and return of assets and inventory.
• May provide functional guidance to colleagues.

Candidates must possess the ability to perform basic and moderately complex troubleshooting and repair activities. Position may require the exercise of moderately complex analytical skills and to make decisions based on established department and company guidelines.

• Reliable transportation with valid registration and adequate insurance Additional requirements may exist if offer of employment is extended
• Must own a basic repair tool kit
