Base pay range

$70,000.00/yr - $85,000.00/yr

Who are we looking for?

We are seeking a hands-on, proactive IT & Facilities Operations Manager to oversee the day-to-day technology support and physical infrastructure operations across our organization. This role blends the tactical technical support responsibilities of a seasoned IT Help Desk Technician with the project management and coordination duties of a Facilities Manager. The ideal candidate is a problem-solver, service-minded, and technically adept individual who can manage both digital workspaces and physical office environments.

This person will not only resolve complex technical issues but also ensure our facilities run efficiently, safely, and smoothly supporting everything from help desk operations and endpoint management to physical asset maintenance and vendor management.

What will you do?

IT Management & Support

  • Lead the internal IT help desk function within our Charleston, SC facility, and mentor junior support staff, ensuring prompt and effective resolution of support tickets.
  • Oversee hardware and software installations, configurations, and upgrades across the organization.
  • Manage asset tracking systems and ensure compliance with licensing and software standards.
  • Administer Microsoft Office 365, Microsoft Entra (Active Directory), and endpoint management via Intune.
  • Maintain documentation for all IT procedures, infrastructure changes, and user support guides.
  • Participate in on-call support rotations and ensure business continuity during outages or incidents.
  • Troubleshoot complex networking issues and assist with VPN and remote access configurations.


Facilities Oversight

  • Oversee the day-to-day operations of office facilities, ensuring building systems (HVAC, electrical, security, etc.) are operational.
  • Coordinate office moves, furniture setups, and workspace ergonomics for staff.
  • Manage relationships with facility vendors (janitorial, security, maintenance, etc.).
  • Maintain safety and accessibility standards, including coordinating emergency and disaster recovery plans.
  • Oversee physical access controls, including keys, badges, and related systems.


This is an onsite position at our office on Daniel Island, Charleston, SC.

What education and experience do you need?

A combination of the following education and experience factors will be considered:

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Facilities Management, or a related field preferred.
  • A+ or Microsoft certification required; ITIL or CompTIA Network+ is a plus.
  • Facilities Management Professional (FMP) or related certification is a bonus.


Experience:

  • A combination of 5+ years in IT support roles and/or 2+ years of experience in facilities operations coordination.
  • Demonstrated project management experience (building moved, large scale equipment setup etc.) administration.
  • Proven experience managing Microsoft 365, Entra ID (Active Directory), and Intune.
  • Strong understanding of building infrastructure, basic maintenance, and vendor coordination.

What does the position pay:

Compensation is determined by several factors which may include skillset, experience level, and geographic location.

The expected range for this role is $70,000 - $85,000 annual compensation. Please note this range is an estimate and actual may vary based on qualifications and experience.
