Job Title: IT - Expert Project Manager - Mid (Electric Utility Exp.) - Remote

The role is primarily remote, with monthly onsite meetings.

Key Qualifications:

• Experience in Electric Operations within a Utility
• Asset Work Management (Distribution Poles, Transmission Towers, Substations)
• Proficiency with SAP PM, SAP EAM, GIS

Responsibilities:

• Manage multiple large-scale, complex projects ($5M, 10 FTEs), coordinating a team of Senior Project Managers
• Support PMO leadership in resource allocation and budgeting
• Determine budgets and staffing for business cases
• Submit project assessments for various review stages
• Supervise challenging projects and incumbent PMs as needed
• Serve as SME for project methodologies and financial analytics
• Mentor PMs and PMAs actively

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
• 8+ years in IT project management, focusing on staffing and resource management
• Proficiency with PDM and PPMC tools
• Experience managing teams of 30+ FTEs on projects lasting 12+ months
• Experience handling multiple projects ($5M labor each) and managing PMAs and PMs from planning stages
• Strong skills in client satisfaction metrics, variance analysis, scope and risk management, QA reviews
• PMI Project Management Professional certification or equivalent
