Position Summary

Enterprise Architecture is responsible for creating a future technology and architecture blueprint aligned with Credit One’s business strategy, ensuring all IT initiatives support this blueprint. The team translates customer business requirements into comprehensive enterprise-wide solutions, requiring deep technical expertise to design architectures that surpass service expectations. This role will support the department in achieving the company’s strategic objectives.

Essential Job Functions

1. Develops a technology vision and strategy for a service line or technical discipline, conducting enterprise analysis, design, planning, and implementation to successfully execute the strategy. Acts as the primary contact between IT and the business for platform services, leading transformation programs including digital platforms and integrations. Leads design discovery sessions, and promotes re-use through designing and building common services platforms.
2. Collaborates with technology and business stakeholders to craft a platform vision for specific business functions.
3. Develops 'Common Platform Services' across the enterprise, from requirements gathering and proof of concept to design and delivery.
4. Encourages re-use through internal sourcing opportunities.
5. Works with Product Managers, Engineering Managers, and other Architects to shape and align product roadmaps and new feature delivery.
6. Communicates complex technical proposals effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences.
7. Acts as a thought leader in modern digital platform development.
8. Possesses experience in cloud architecture, IoT technical design, and cloud-native application development using IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS models.
9. Has deep experience with AGILE/Lean methodologies, DevOps, and cloud application deployment.
10. Demonstrates strong communication and interpersonal skills within a global organization.
11. Adopts a collaborative problem-solving approach.
12. Maintains expertise across multiple architecture domains, stays updated on emerging technologies and trends, and demonstrates progressive thinking.
13. Leads architecture and development solutions pragmatically, with a proven track record in agile delivery.
14. Requires 10+ years of experience, including at least 5+ years in software development and 5+ years in architectural or product management roles.
15. Experience with modern AWS and Azure cloud technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, IoT, Digital Twins, Cosmos) is highly advantageous.
16. Possesses strong business acumen and a successful history of aligning diverse groups and opinions.

Position Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in technology, engineering, or a related field.
• 8-12 years of progressive IT experience, including 5+ years in management and strategic roles.
• Proficiency with cloud services (OpenShift, Azure, AWS), modern JS frameworks (React, Angular, NodeJS), SQL and NoSQL databases, object-oriented programming languages (Java, Node.js, Go, Rust, .NET/C#), mobile development (iOS, Android, React Native, Flutter, Ionic), REST APIs, DevOps, and CI/CD.
• Strong understanding of software design principles.
• Ability to interpret ambiguous business requirements and translate them into clear roadmaps and success metrics.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and project management skills.
• Effective collaboration and follow-up skills to ensure deadlines and outcomes are met.
