Job summary

CS Power Systems, a cutting-edge division of Canadian Solar, seeks an IT Engineer in Indiana to lead IT operation and maintenance for the factory. You will oversee local IT systems, network security, device installation, and cross-functional coordination with headquarters IT.

The role emphasizes onsite support, backup for production IT, and strong teamwork. Night shift flexibility and two years of IT experience are preferred in a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree with major in computer and related field.
• Good English oral and writing skills.
• Good communication and coordination skill.
• Good teamwork experience; can accept night shift work.
• Two years working experience in IT or outstanding graduates.

Responsibilities

• Provide local IT system and equipment installation and maintenance service.
• Resolve hardware issues, workshop printing issues, phone issues, VPN issues and network connectivity issues.
• Support part of weak current project construction technical work.
• Maintain meeting room equipment (Phone, Projector, Polycom video, TV, Audio system).
• Manage IT assets and equipment; record ownership; operate IT systems per SOP.
• Communicate between local users and headquarters IT.
• Handle daily ad hoc requests and other tasks & projects as assigned by supervisor.
• Ensure local network connectivity and security access.
• Manage telephone lines, network connections and other weak current systems.
• Install, commission and maintain printers.
• Provide technical support and security training for end users.
• Communicate with local end users and gather feedback.

Position Title: IT Engineer

Location: Indiana

Position Summary:

This position needs to be responsible for the work between the group and the factory and lead help complete the operation and maintenance of the factory's IT equipment, facilities and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in IT management, network administration, cybersecurity, system integration and project management, with strong early career experience in a technology role within a manufacturing environment. The successful candidates responsibilities will include:

• Providing local IT system and equipment installation and maintenance service
