Job summary

Falcomm is seeking an IT/EDA Systems Engineer to bridge IT infrastructure and semiconductor design toolchains in Atlanta. The role oversees reliability of enterprise IT, Linux compute environments, and EDA toolchains used by engineering teams.

You will manage licenses, Cadence tools, and design clusters, while collaborating with MSPs to maintain systems and resolve issues. Required 3–5+ years in IT infrastructure, strong Linux admin skills, and experience with EDA tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS/EE/IT or related field.
• 3-5+ years of experience managing IT infrastructure or engineering compute environments.
• Strong Linux system administration experience.
• Experience supporting EDA tools.
• Experience managing software license servers.
• Solid understanding of networking, storage, Linux environments, and engineering compute infrastructure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
• Willing to work full‑time, onsite, in Atlanta, GA.

Responsibilities

• Manage enterprise IT infrastructure including servers, storage, networking, and virtualization environments.
• Deploy, maintain, and optimize EDA environments used for RFIC and semiconductor design.
• Collaborate with external MSP to troubleshoot issues and resolve tickets.
• Administer Cadence design tools and related toolchains.
• Manage EDA license servers and license utilization.
• Maintain Linux-based compute clusters used for simulation and verification.
• Optimize compute infrastructure for EDA workloads.
• Develop scripts to improve reliability and efficiency.
• Automate provisioning, configuration, and monitoring using Python, Bash, or similar tools.
• Maintain corporate IT infrastructure including servers, networking, and cloud services.
• Manage authentication systems, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Support internal teams with infrastructure needs.
