Job Title: Application Systems Manager

Location: Remote (United States)

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Application Systems Manager to oversee the end-to-end production, quality, and compliance of our application systems on a global level. This role is crucial in defining and driving our application strategy, particularly in streamlining the processes involved in implementing our ERP systems, which currently include multiple SAP ECC and S/4HANA applications.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to deliver a comprehensive roadmap for the application landscape that aligns with new business requirements and supports additional acquired organizational units.
  • Serve as a trusted partner to our business stakeholders, setting goals and strategies for critical technologies and initiatives.
  • Manage and prioritize a global IT team responsible for various sub-areas, ensuring effective collaboration and communication.
  • Develop, design, and implement new processes on existing third-party applications and custom software development projects.
  • Drive continuous improvement of existing processes, fostering innovation and efficiency.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships within the Enterprise Services department, facilitating cross-functional collaboration.
  • Participate in and lead both global and local projects, ensuring alignment with company objectives.
  • Guide the organization through the S/4HANA journey, executing the application service roadmap in accordance with business needs.

  • Proven experience in managing application systems, particularly within SAP ECC and S/4HANA environments.
