• Experience with cybersecurity tools like FortiNet, Tenable, and Proofpoint is a plus.

This role has a hybrid work schedule, requiring onsite presence at our Lafayette Hill, PA location approximately 4 times each month.

Position Details:

The Director of Network Operations and Security will leverage past experience to provide strategic, administrative, and technical leadership, overseeing Merakey's technology infrastructure, including data center operations and all aspects of the Information Security Program. Responsibilities include managing networks, domains, and infrastructure services such as LANs/WANs, wireless, servers, storage, virtualization, cloud computing, telephony, and network security.

Our ideal candidate will demonstrate:

• Management and oversight of staff across various IT teams, executing network operations, security, and support functions.
• Coordination of IT support projects and resource allocation ensuring excellent customer service.
• Investigation and response to security incidents, industry alerts, and participation in security exercises.
• Compliance reviews and remediation planning.
• Development and implementation of policies, procedures, and documentation for infrastructure management.
• Support and management of network technology assets and infrastructure.
• Leadership in network architecture planning, redundancy, backups, and disaster recovery.
• Research of emerging technologies to enhance organizational performance.
• Performance measurement, reporting, and budget management.
• Building strong relationships with business and IT leadership.
• Staff development and knowledge sharing.
• Strong knowledge of security laws, frameworks, and enterprise infrastructure design.
• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP), Microsoft Active Directory, Cisco, HP/Pure/EMC hardware, and application delivery systems.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and project management skills.
