TriSearch in Germantown, MD, is seeking a Director of IT to lead the technology roadmap for a rapidly expanding multi-site healthcare network. You will align IT strategy with aggressive growth, manage WAN connectivity, vendor relationships, and security programs to support high-quality patient care.

Reporting to the CFO, you will standardize SOE, oversee data integrations with EMR/PM systems, and drive BI initiatives to improve provider productivity and financial performance.

Qualifications

• 7+ years managing IT systems strategy and implementation for a multi-site healthcare business.
• Experience working in Healthcare Technology.

Responsibilities

• Develop the Strategic IT Roadmap: Assess the current state of technology across 30+ sites and design a multi-year strategy that aligns IT investment with growth targets, focusing on scalability, cloud migration, and standardization.
• Manage Multi-Site Infrastructure (SD-WAN/NetOps): Oversee WAN connectivity, reliability, and performance across clinics; manage ISPs, firewalls, and VPNs for access to critical apps.
• Oversee Managed Service Providers (MSPs): Own accountability for external IT vendors; ensure SLAs and timely helpdesk support.
• Lead Data Security & HIPAA Compliance: Act as HIPAA Security Officer; enforce access controls, encryption, audits; conduct risk assessments; train staff on cybersecurity.
• Architect Data Interoperability: Design middleware to ensure data flow between EMR, PM, labs, and third-party tools (HL7/FHIR).
• Standardize Hardware/Software Lifecycle: Establish SOE for workstations, tablets, printers; centralize procurement; lifecycle management.
• Optimize Clinical App Performance: Collaborate with CM and clinicians to tune EMR configurations and workflows.
• Establish Internal Support Protocols: Define escalation paths; implement ticketing to track failures and trends.
• Drive Business Intelligence & Reporting: Build data architecture to derive insights on productivity, volume, and revenue cycle.
• Manage Disaster Recovery & Business Continuity: Create robust backup/recovery plans and failover for outages.
