Markel Group seeks a Director of Claims IT to lead the division’s technology strategy and operations across the US and UK. You will own the Claims technology roadmap, manage multi-team delivery, and partner with senior leadership to drive measurable value.

The Dir participates in all aspects of the division’s information technology strategy and associated systems. This includes the direct management of dedicated delivery resources as well as oversight of all aspects of technology support and operations of the division applications. The Dir will be responsible for supporting multiple locations within the US and/or the UK. Owns Markel’s technology strategy, delivery and operations for the Claims organization. Serves as the main IT partner to Claims leadership across first notice of loss (FNOL), adjudication, litigation management, recovery and payments.
The salary range for this position is $152,600 - $318,000. The posted salary range reflects the lowest and highest base salary applicable to this role across our U.S. locations. Individual offers are determined based on geographic location, experience, qualifications, internal equity and other job-related factors. As a result, the salary offered for a specific location will fall within a narrower range than the overall range displayed in this posting. This position may also be eligible to participate in the Company's annual incentive plan.
