Position Description

The position serves as a strategic liaison between IT and business units, ensuring technology initiatives align with organizational goals. This dual-role leader is responsible for cultivating strong partnerships with business stakeholders, managing a portfolio of IT projects, and driving the successful delivery of technology solutions that enhance operational efficiency and innovation.

Key Responsibilities

Business Relationship Management (BRM):

• Act as the primary IT point of contact for business units, understanding their needs, challenges, and strategic goals.
• Translate business requirements into IT initiatives and ensure alignment with enterprise architecture and strategy.
• Facilitate communication between business stakeholders and IT teams to ensure mutual understanding and collaboration.
• Identify opportunities for technology to drive business value and innovation.
• Identify, evaluate, and prioritize business demands for IT services and solutions.
• Ensure that IT investments deliver measurable business value and align with enterprise goals.
• Monitor and report on the performance and value of IT initiatives to business stakeholders.

Project & Portfolio Management:

• Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of IT projects, from initiation through execution and closure.
• Develop and manage project scopes, timelines, budgets, and resource allocations.
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies for project delivery.
• Ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget while meeting quality standards.
• Communicate project goals, progress, and outcomes to stakeholders at all levels of the organization.

Leadership & Strategy:

• Contribute to IT strategic planning and roadmap development.
• Ensure compliance with IT governance, risk management, and cybersecurity policies.
• Lead cross-functional teams to deliver business-focused IT solutions.
• Collaborate with enterprise architects, project managers, and service delivery teams to ensure alignment and execution.

Required Education & Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred).
• 10+ years of progressive experience in IT, including 5+ years in a leadership or BRM role.
• Proven experience managing complex IT projects and programs.
  Strong understanding of business processes and how IT enables business success.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in project management tools
• Certifications such as PMP, BRMP, ITIL, or Agile/Scrum are highly desirable.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
