Job summary

AGCO is seeking a Salesforce Developer to deliver programmatic solutions including Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning components, with full project lifecycle support from analysis to post-go-live.

You will collaborate with architects and tech leads to design and implement integrations, follow change control, and maintain code in Git using modern IDEs like Visual Studio Code with SFDX. The role requires 3–5 years of Salesforce development and a Platform Developer I certification.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT (Information Technology) or a related field.
• Write codes independently.
• At least 3–5 years of Salesforce Developer experience.
• Platform Developer I Certification.
• Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Web Components.

Responsibilities

• Understand business processes and implement Salesforce changes per design.
• Work with Architect and Tech Lead to build code and integrate with other modules.
• Follow change control procedures and create technical specs, designs, and testing documentation; use VS Code with SFDX.
• Manage source code in Git and provide technical guidance and support on Salesforce projects globally.

Salesforce Developer with AGCO is responsible for delivering programmatic solutions to meet business requirements. This includes Apex, Visualforce, and Lightning Component customizations as well as complex configurations and unit testing. It will also provide technical deliverables on Salesforce projects globally including analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and post-go-live support ensuring systems are highly available and reliable.

Your Impact

• Maintain an understanding of AGCO’s business processes and the application systems/infrastructure that supports them.

• Understand solution designs and implement programmatic changes and configuration in Salesforce.

• Work with the Architect and Technical Lead to build code as per their recommendation. Understand integration points within other systems; grasp the impact of all proposed system changes and accordingly build code and configuration to integrate with other modules and satellite solutions.

• Follow appropriate change control procedures .Create technical specifications, designs, and testing documentation. Work with IDE such as Visual Studio Code with SFDX or similar.

• Work with Source Code control systems (git) to maintain the Code Repository. Supply technical guidance and support on Salesforce projects and functionality globally

Your Experience and Qualifications
