This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an IT Data Solutions Developer in the United States.

We are seeking a skilled IT Data Solutions Developer to design, develop, and enhance business intelligence (BI) solutions that drive operational efficiency and strategic decision-making. In this role, you will work closely with operations teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional IT groups to translate business requirements into robust, validated BI applications. You will provide support for BI solutions across their lifecycle, including testing, documentation, deployment, and user training. The role requires strong analytical capabilities, proficiency in database and data visualization tools, and the ability to manage multiple medium-scale projects in a collaborative and remote-friendly environment. Ideal candidates are self-starters who are passionate about healthcare data, BI technologies, and delivering actionable insights.

Accountabilities

  • Independently develop, enhance, and support analytical and operational BI solutions to meet business needs.
  • Collaborate with operations teams to design metrics and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.
  • Translate business requirements into effective, validated BI solutions, including dashboards and reports for varied audiences.
  • Maintain thorough documentation for BI solutions, adhering to industry standards.
  • Provide production support for BI systems, including analysis, design, implementation, and testing.
  • Manage multiple projects and requests using project management methodologies.
  • Train end-users on BI tools, supporting upgrades and changes through all phases.
  • Mentor junior team members and provide guidance on BI solution design and analysis.
  • Participate in on-call support for BI solutions and implementations as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent experience in EHR applications and SQL report writing.
  • 2–4 years of professional experience with Epic applications and Business Intelligence tools.
  • Epic certification(s) in relevant applications (must obtain missing certifications within 5 months of starting).
  • Proficiency in database design, complex queries, ETL processes, and data visualization concepts.
  • Strong analytical, logical thinking, and problem-solving skills with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently and work independently or collaboratively.
  • Excellent communication skills, team orientation, and customer service focus.
  • Familiarity with EHR workflows, reporting, and Microsoft Office products.
