• Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
• Sophomore standing or above with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a minimum 10-week summer term.
• Legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Collect, organize, and analyze complex manufacturing datasets to identify operational bottlenecks and trends.
• Design and build automated dashboards and reports in Power BI supporting plant digital transformation.
• Assist IT project managers with project schedules, scope documentation, and milestone tracking.
• Support data modeling, simulation algorithms, and workflow automation under senior engineer mentorship.
• Present data-driven insights and project recommendations to technical stakeholders and leadership.

About the Role:

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking an IT & Data Analytics Intern for the Summer 2027 session in Marysville, OH. In this paid internship, you will analyze large manufacturing datasets, build automated reporting dashboards, and support enterprise IT projects across manufacturing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Collect, organize, and analyze complex manufacturing datasets to identify operational bottlenecks and trends.
• Design and build automated dashboards and reports in Power BI supporting plant digital transformation.
• Assist IT project managers with project schedules, scope documentation, and milestone tracking.
• Support data modeling, simulation algorithms, and workflow automation under senior engineer mentorship.
• Present data-driven insights and project recommendations to technical stakeholders and leadership.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Enrolled in an accredited Bachelor's or Master's program in Information Systems, Computer Science, or Data Analytics.
• Sophomore standing or above with a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5.
• Available to work full-time (40 hours/week) for a minimum 10-week summer term.
• Experience with SQL, Python, Excel, or BI platforms (Power BI / Tableau).
• Valid U.S. Driver's License, daily transportation, and legal authorization to work in the US without sponsorship.
