Job summary

SECU is offering a paid Spring 2027 internship focused on data analytics and real-world experience within the IT Data Analytics function. Interns will be mentored by a dedicated resource and work on project-based learning to build a path toward future part-time or full-time roles.

Responsibilities include research, data acquisition and cleaning, Power BI reporting, Python scripting, and cross-department collaboration, with an emphasis on building professional skills in a supportive credit union

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Data Analytics or Data Science-related major.
• GPA of 2.8 or higher.

Responsibilities

• Execute project-based research and prepare presentations for leadership.
• Gain entry-level exposure to Associate IT Data Analyst functions: data acquisition, preparation, cleaning, integration, and cataloging.
• Create Power BI reports using Power Query and DAX; develop visualizations.
• Write Python scripts and use version control.
• Support administrative duties and collaborate across departments.
