Job summary

Fidelity TalentSource in Merrimack, NH is seeking an IT Data Analyst to help build out Fidelity’s BPM capabilities. You’ll collaborate with Technology and business partners to improve access to enterprise views, strengthen reporting and analytics, and support better decision-making.

You’ll gain exposure to Fidelity’s data lake on the company’s data platform while working in autonomous teams to expand the BPM platform over a multi-year horizon, translating business needs into robust data

Qualifications

• Experience navigating integrated enterprise data and working across multi-functional teams.
• Proficient with agile methodologies and practices.
• Working knowledge of SQL or Python, able to independently wrangle datasets to produce insights.
• Ability to communicate sophisticated concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
• Passion for continuous learning and staying current with data analytics innovations.
• Familiarity with Jira/Jira Align is a plus.
• Familiarity with enterprise data lakes and cloud platforms like Snowflake is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate across Technology with business partners to develop and expand Fidelity’s BPM capabilities.
• Improve data access and analytics by enabling easier access to enterprise views and deeper insights for reporting and analytics.
• Build an understanding of the data lake on Fidelity’s data platform to support analysis and reporting needs.
• Work on a multi-year BPM platform growth effort in autonomous teams with business partners, data engineers, and peer data analysts.
• Capture business requirements and translate them into data solutions.
• Define user stories and validate the impact of changes to datasets and data models.
• Break down complex work into clear, manageable elements that support delivery.
• Propose alternative approaches and recommend options based on benefits and tradeoffs.
• Apply data management and data modeling practices while building data solutions.
• Define robust test scenarios using data analysis and data profiling skills.
