Defense Information Systems Agency in Arlington, VA is recruiting for a Senior IT security role under the Cyber Excepted Service. Qualifications: In order to qualify for this position, you must meet the requirements described below. Basic Requirements: Applicants must have IT-related experience demonstrating each of the following four competencies, which are essential for immediate success in this position. Your resume must show evidence of:
Qualifying Experience: To qualify at the GG-13 grade level, your resume must describe at least one year of experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in the position. Experience refers to any paid or unpaid experience, including volunteer work and Military service, that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level (GS/GG-12) in the federal service. For this position, qualifying experience is defined as: (1) Providing technical support or guidance related to information systems security; OR (2) applying information system security principles, concepts, and methods; OR (3) managing IT projects; AND (4) IT-related experience demonstrating Attention to Detail, Customer Service, Oral Communication, and Problem Solving as described in the vacancy announcement. Candidates must describe how they meet the qualifying experience and/or selective placement factor(s) within the body of their resume.
