Alliance of Professionals & Consultants, Inc. is seeking an IT Cyber Security Analyst for a 12-month contract in a hybrid role based in Greenville, SC.

You will contribute to the IT operations team and lead cyber security efforts within the manufacturing and engineering domain, including patch management and vulnerability handling. The candidate should have 4+ years in IT with a security focus, and certifications are preferred.

Qualifications

• 4+ years of operational IT experience with cyber security focus.
• Cyber security certifications preferred (e.g., CompTIA Security+).
• Ability to lead AME zone cyber security team.
• Attention to detail and quality orientation.

Responsibilities

• Follow and ensure monthly security patching and end point protection; track progress.
• Manage urgent security vulnerabilities and escalate to senior management.
• Monitor Service Now queues and resolve incidents for the AME zone.
• Drive continuous improvement actions.
• Create and update IT dashboards in Excel and visual views.
• Participate in 24x7 on-call rotation (~4 weeks per year).

Job Title

IT Cyber Security Analyst

Type of Engagement

12 month contract (Not open to 3rd party C2C consultants. Visa sponsorship is not available)

Job Overview

This role is part of our IT operational team that supports the manufacturing domain activities and is a functional leader of the cyber security team within our operational manufacturing and engineering domain.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for following and ensuring routine security patching and end point protection is completed monthly; this includes tracking site progress and escalating when needed.
• Facilitate and manage urgent security vulnerabilities and communicate to senior management.
• Monitors team Service Now queues and resolves incidents and requests for the AME zone.
• Responsible for driving continuous improvement actions.
• Responsible for creating and updating the various IT dashboards (excel and visual views).
• Participate in 24 x 7 on-call rotation with operational team (~ 4 weeks per year).

Required Skills & Experience

• Operational IT work experience (4+ years), including focus and experience in cyber security.
• IT Professional with IT BS degree preferred.
• Cyber Security certifications (COMPTIA Security +, CISSP, etc.) preferred.
• Ability to lead and facilitate the AME zone cyber security team.
• Quality oriented with high attention to detail.
• Experience with these tools or similar tools – WSUS, Active Directory, Kibana, OCS Inventory, Symantec, Microsoft Defender.
• Knowledge of operating systems – Windows, Linux.
• Ability to create visual dashboards in Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.
• Experience with Service Now.
• Ability to collaborate with various development and infrastructure teams including IT locally and globally, building strong working relationships with the site managers.
• Ability to facilitate meetings including sending out meeting minutes and actions.
• Team player who can work autonomously and is self‑motivated to deliver quality results in a timely manner.
• Ability to ask good questions to ensure full understanding of business impact and urgency of major incidents.
• Strong knowledge and experience with IT basic collaboration tools including MS M365 suite of applications.

Big Bonus Points if you Have

• Application development and infrastructure related experience.

Pay Range

A reasonable estimate of the pay range for this role is $44.00 - $49.00 per hour. The disclosed pay range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. The compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case, such as skills and experience levels.
