As an MP Consultant, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Work across diverse sectors to manage diverse projects and support programs of work.
  • Deliver within complex client engagements and aid MP team leadership with client relationship management

Role Summary

We are seeking a sharp, detail-oriented IT Project Manager to lead the end-to-end delivery of IT programs with a focus on PMO governance, business analysis, and data-driven decision-making. This role sits at the intersection of technology, process improvement, and stakeholder engagement, requiring a blend of technical acumen, analytical rigor, and exceptional communication skills.

You will partner with cross-functional teams to drive project execution, risk management, and continuous improvement, while leveraging your business analysis and data analysis skills to ensure alignment with business objectives. Experience in financial services or technology is a strong plus, as is familiarity with regulatory compliance and Agile methodologies.

Key Responsibilities
Project Delivery & Coordination
  • Lead end-to-end project delivery for IT initiatives, ensuring alignment with PMO standards, business goals, and technical requirements.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams, including internal stakeholders, external vendors, and SMEs, to drive collaboration and timely delivery.
  • Identify and resolve process bottlenecks, risks, and dependencies, proactively mitigating issues before they impact delivery.
Business & Data Analysis
  • Conduct business analysis to gather, document, and prioritize requirements, ensuring alignment with project objectives and stakeholder needs.
  • Leverage data analysis to track KPIs, project health, and performance metrics, providing data-driven insights to leadership.
  • Develop and maintain structured reporting (e.g., dashboards, status updates) to communicate progress, risks, and recommendations.
Stakeholder & Communication Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for project stakeholders, ensuring clear, concise, and timely communication.
  • Facilitate workshops, retrospectives, and lessons-learned sessions to drive continuous improvement.
  • Present complex technical and business concepts in an easy-to-understand manner for non-technical audiences.
PMO Governance & Process Improvement
  • Ensure PMO best practices are followed, including documentation, compliance, and audit readiness.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline processes, improve efficiency, and enhance project delivery frameworks.
  • Support Agile/Scrum ceremonies and ensure alignment with Agile methodologies (e.g., sprint planning, backlog refinement).
  • Identify, track, and mitigate project risks, ensuring minimal disruption to timelines and budgets.
  • Adapt quickly to changing priorities and evolving requirements, maintaining focus on critical milestones.
Skills & Qualifications
  • 3–6 years of experience in IT project management, with a focus on PMO, business analysis, or data analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to influence decisions and build trust.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban) and project management tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence).
  • Proficiency in data analysis and reporting (e.g., Excel, Power BI, Tableau) to drive data-informed decisions.
  • Ability to translate technical jargon into business-friendly language for executives and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice-to-Have Skills
  • Background in financial services, technology, or consulting.
  • Exposure to regulatory compliance (e.g., GDPR, SOX, ITGC) or cybersecurity frameworks.
  • Familiarity with SQL, Python, or other data analysis tools (a plus for advanced analytics).
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Project management certification (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, CSM) is a plus.
  • Experience in consulting or client-facing roles is highly valued.
