JOB SUMMARY

We are seeking a skilled and service-oriented IT Systems Administrator to join our hospitality technology team. This role is responsible for supporting and maintaining the IT infrastructure across multiple hotel properties, ensuring seamless operations and exceptional guest experiences. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and a passion for delivering high-quality support in a fast-paced, guest-centric environment.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Provide on-site and remote technical support for hardware, software, and connectivity issues across assigned hotel properties.
  • Install, configure, and maintain property management systems (PMS), point-of-sale (POS) systems, and other hospitality-specific applications.
  • Perform system and software upgrades with minimal disruption to hotel operations.
  • Monitor system performance and ensure high availability of guest-facing technologies such as Wi-Fi, IPTV, and key card systems.
  • Administer IT security policies and ensure compliance with PCI-DSS and data privacy regulations.
  • Maintain accurate technical documentation, procedures, training materials, and reports.
  • Collaborate with hotel management, operations teams, and third-party vendors to resolve issues and implement technology solutions.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and uphold the company\'s reputation while interacting with hotel staff and guests.
  • Provide emergency response and after-hours support as needed.
  • Travel between properties to provide hands-on support and infrastructure maintenance.
REQUIREMENTS
  • Proven experience with Windows operating systems, Active Directory, Exchange Online, and VMware.
  • Familiarity with hospitality systems such as Opera PMS, MICROS POS, or similar platforms.
  • Strong scripting skills (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation and system management.
  • Ability to design, install, and maintain network infrastructure including VLANs, firewalls, and guest Wi-Fi.
  • Excellent troubleshooting, problem-solving, and analytical skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills; ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and IT ticketing systems (e.g., ConnectWise).
  • Positive attitude, adaptability, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Valid driver\'s license with a clean driving record and willingness to travel.
  • Must be able to perform the following: bending, lifting, walking and climbing
PREFERRED COMPETENCIES & QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience in a multi-property hotel environment.
  • Certifications such as CompTIA A+/Network+/Security+, Microsoft Certified, or VMware Certified Professional (VCP).
  • Knowledge of surveillance systems, VoIP, and access control technologies.
