Frost is seeking an IT Compliance Specialist to navigate IT risk, document controls, and ensure alignment with COBIT across IT operations. You will collaborate with IT management to close control gaps and implement robust policies and training.

The role emphasizes integrity, accuracy, and proactive improvement within Frost’s 150-year banking legacy. The position requires10+ years in IT and IT audit, COBIT experience, and strong communication skills.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology is required.
• 10 years IT and IT audit experience.
• 5 years experience using COBIT as a control framework.
• 2 years Project Management experience.
• 2 years experience implementing policies and procedures.
• 2 years training experience.
• Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills.

Responsabilidades

• Identify and document current IT controls and assess adequacy using COBIT as a frame of reference.
• Help identify control deficiencies and develop remediation plans with IT management.
• Design and implement policies, procedures, and solutions to close deficiencies.
• Enhance policies to comply with new standards.
• Develop annual plans to monitor COBIT-compliant controls.
• Prepare reports and presentations for project stakeholders.
• Create training materials and conduct various training sessions.
• Review audit evidence for accuracy and ensure timely submission to auditors.

Who you are:

As an IT Compliance Specialist , you are our risk navigator. You’ll be responsible for ensuring that IT’s information risks and control activities are consistent with and supportive of the Control Objectives for Information Technology. You will identify and document current controls in IT and assess their adequacy using COBIT as a frame of reference. You welcome a challenge and strive to contentiously improve processes with integrity, caring and excellence in mind.

What you’ll do:

• Identify and document current controls in IT and assess their adequacy using COBIT as a frame of reference
• Assist in identifying control deficiencies and develop plans with IT management to implement controls needed to address deficiencies found
• Design and implement policies, procedures, and solutions to close identified control deficiencies
• Enhance existing policies and procedures to comply with new standards
• Develop annual plans to monitor compliance of controls to COBIT standards
• Prepare reports and presentations to project stakeholders
• Create training materials on process and conduct classroom training, group, and one-on-one mentoring
• Review audit evidence for accuracy and completeness before submission to auditors, and ensure evidence is provided by requested date

What you’ll need:

• Proficient in Microsoft computer applications
• Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology
• 10 years experience in Information Technology and IT audit
• 5 years experience using COBIT
• 2 years Project Management experience
• 2 years experience implementing policies and procedures
• 2 years training experience
• Excellent written, communication, and interpersonal skills

Additional Preferred Skills:

• Master’s Degree
• Experience using ITIL, CMM, and ISO 17799
• CISA, CISM, and/or CISSP certification
• Banking domain knowledge
