Responsibilities:

Ensures NWRDC's adherence to regulatory standards, mitigates potential risks, and safeguards the integrity of IT systems. Utilizes compliance frameworks and risk assessment methodologies to develop, recognize, and implement effective strategies to enhance NWRDC's overall information security posture.

Responsible for creating, disseminating, and retaining all monthly and quarterly reports according to internal NWRDC policies relative to risk management, compliance, and privacy.

Coordinate and manage all Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certifications and Level 2 background checks—primary contact with FSU HR and ITS HR for all NWRDC background screening and maintenance. Coordinate and manage all Criminal Justice Information Services (CJIS) certifications and Level 2 background checks for vendors and contractors.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and two years experience or a combination of post high school education and experience equal to six years.

Considerations:

This is an A&P position.

This position requires successful completion of a criminal history background check. As required by U.S. Justice Department, CJIS level Background Checks shall be conducted for positions with access to Criminal Justice Information.

This position has been designated as eligible for primarily remote based on the current position/job functions. Employees are required to live in the Tallahassee area and report to campus as needed.
