Job summary

Signal Centers is seeking an IT Compliance Specialist to help ensure the organization complies with applicable laws, regulations, accreditation standards, and internal policies. You will monitor activities, conduct audits, manage risk assessments, investigate concerns, and support leadership with reports and recommendations.

You will collaborate across departments to strengthen internal controls, maintain compliance programs, and promote a culture of accountability.

Qualifications

• Interpreting cybersecurity, privacy, and compliance requirements for regulated organizations such as government contractors or nonprofits.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills to assess risks and propose practical solutions.
• Certifications such as CRISC, CCEP, CRCM, CHC, or CISA are preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in IT, cybersecurity, healthcare IT, public administration, or related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Conduct compliance monitoring, audits, and risk assessments.
• Review policies and procedures for regulatory compliance.
• Identify, investigate, document compliance issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Track regulatory changes and assess organizational impact.
• Develop and deliver compliance training and awareness programs.
• Maintain compliance records, documentation, and reporting.
• Assist with internal and external audits, inspections, and accreditation reviews.
• Collaborate with leaders to implement corrective action plans.
• Prepare compliance reports and presentations for management.
