Job summary

OptechUs, based in Auburn Hills, Michigan, is seeking a candidate to play a critical role in identifying emerging risks and executing audit and advisory activities. The role requires strong analytical skills to consult management on control practices related to new products and overall strategy.

The ideal candidate will have over 6 years of experience designing and implementing controls with a solid IT controls background and must be able to work independently. Responsibilities include assisting with audit strategy development and refining risk-based practices.

Candidate will play a critical role in helping the organization identify emerging risks and navigate through a rapidly changing environment. Responsible for independently executing assigned audit and advisory activities, primarily providing coverage of Compliance. The role utilizes sound, seasoned analytical skills and technical expertise to provide consultation to management regarding emerging control practices associated with newly developed products, branding, and overall strategy. Responsibilities also includes assisting with development of audit strategy and refining internal processes for the sound application of risk based practices.

Qualifications

• Strong IT controls background; experience with service delivery and execution of projects that adhere to COBIT's best practices
• 6+ years design and implementing controls and monitoring of those controls
• Hands‑on experience collecting requirements, documenting processes and creating controls libraries
• Must be able to work independently with little direction, able to multi-task and operate quickly
• Knowledge of full SDLC process
• Experience creating Compliance Project scope and work streams to attain compliance goals.
