Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a contract IT controls analyst to support the firm's IT control framework within the Derivative Products Group. You will gather data across sources, build reports and dashboards in Excel and Power BI, and analyze control performance to drive improvements.

Responsibilities include automating reporting workflows, ensuring audit readiness, and collaborating with risk, compliance, and technology stakeholders. Strong SOX knowledge and data governance experience preferred.

Qualifications

• 3-5+ years of experience in IT compliance, IT controls, technology risk, or internal audit in financial services or regulated environments.
• Hands-on experience developing, improving, and implementing IT control frameworks (ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, etc.).
• Demonstrated ability to perform control testing, risk assessments, evidence gathering, and remediation validation.
• Strong analytical skills to gather, normalize, and validate data from multiple systems.
• Advanced proficiency in Excel, reporting, and dashboard creation (Power BI strongly preferred).
• Experience with IT compliance automation, workflow tools, or visualization platforms.
• Familiarity with SOX technology controls, operational risk, or technology governance.
• Understanding of data governance, data quality concepts, and control evidence lifecycle.
• Strong communication skills for partnering with tech, risk, ops, and compliance stakeholders.
• Ability to work with confidential information and maintain high standards of precision and documentation quality.

• Build and maintain IT control reports, dashboards, KPIs, and metrics using Excel and Power BI.

• Automate recurring reporting workflows and document processes to ensure repeatability and audit readiness.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to work on W2 without sponsorship

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract position based out of Charlotte, NC.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $35.00 - $40.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
