Job description

Overview

This is a remote role that may be hired in several markets across the United States.

This position is responsible for the migration of mainframe and distributed program changes through a defined protocol. Facilitates the establishment and management of migration protocols. Maintains application, system, and vendor product documentation. Directs adopted security policies and procedures to ensure software integrity. Supports the user and application administration of code migration tools through a variety of technical tasks.


Responsibilities

  • Migration - Controls migration from development to production, performing a variety of associated technical tasks to ensure successful migration. Utilizes tools to develop efficient processes for code migrations. Identifies, analyzes, and resolves issues reported by user areas or during migration review. Manages and tracks requests.
  • Tool Administration - Supports the administration of ChangeMan ZMF, Team Foundation Server, Azure DevOps, and related mainframe code migration tools. Provides related training to all stakeholders, integrates tools with peripheral applications, and performs regular reviews. Supports ongoing enhancements and implementations. Advises on the execution of tool processes, set-up, and customization to align with client requirements.
  • Analysis - Forecasts the impact of proposed changes through analysis. Evaluates processes to define customer needs and support enhancement efforts. Reviews tools, technical parameters, and processes for compliance. Performs regular Sarbanes-Oxley and change management audits.
  • Business Support - Aids the implementation of environments and enterprise solutions that are scalable, achieve business objectives, and meet relevant service level agreements. Maintains documentation related to change migration, operations, and tools. Serves as a technical resource by providing guidance and recommendations towards operational support efforts.

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree and 3 years of experience in Change Management Software OR High School Diploma or GED and 7 years of experience in Change Management Software

Preferred skills:

- Experience with Mainframe, Cobol programming

- Experience with ChangeMan, EnDeavor, IBM Rationale, BMC code pipelines

- Experience with DevOps and ServiceNow

The base pay for this position is generally between $80,000 and $125,000. Actual starting base pay will be determined based on skills, experience, location, and other non-discriminatory factors permitted by law. For some roles, total compensation may also include variable incentives, bonuses, benefits, and/or other awards as outlined in the offer of employment.
