The estimated range is not adjusted for geographic location. Typically, hires are not at the top of the range, as compensation depends on individual circumstances.

Job Summary
The Business Systems Analyst collaborates with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Development teams to define, build, test, and deploy product changes that deliver value. They serve as a functional expert on product systems, ensuring clear documentation of expected behaviors.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Facilitate meetings to identify and document business needs, procedures, data requirements, security, and formatting needs.
- Ensure understanding of product users and consumers to build valuable products.
- Act as a subject matter expert for development by external partners.
- Create documentation such as user stories, process maps, business rules, requirements, use cases, and test plans.
- Manage documentation processes to support agile development and deliver value frequently.
- Perform system testing and demos to verify product changes meet criteria.
- Coordinate acceptance testing with QA and user groups for major updates.
- Apply IT methodologies and SDLC frameworks like Waterfall and Agile.
- Conduct research and analysis to support business operations and technical requirements.
- Design and recommend improvements to business processes for greater efficiency.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in computer science, information systems, or related field.
- Relevant systems analysis experience, typically 6+ years for senior roles.
Essential Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of One Call’s products and the claims management industry.
- Understanding of SDLC methodologies and industry standards like Six Sigma, LEAN.
- Proficiency in solution design, requirements gathering, and office tools.
- Strong communication, analytical, decision-making, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to influence, estimate effort, work independently or in teams, and align with company values.
Physical/Mental Demands & Work Environment
- This is a remote position requiring setup of a home office.
- The role is sedentary, involving computer work, data assessment, and communication.
- Must be able to focus, learn new tasks, handle moderate stress, and manage multiple priorities.
