SAP America, Inc. is seeking an IT Business Services Senior Consultant at our Newtown Square, PA location to define, execute, and manage IT strategy, governance and standards across people, processes and technologies as well as the IT operating model.

Qualifications

• Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Responsibilities

• Drives and executes core central IT functions, e.g. rollout of policies and governance, training, communication, coaching, KPI definition and measurement.
• Ensures IT governance topics are covered in projects, products and processes; supports escalation management and stakeholder reporting.
• Defines service plans, governance structures and risk management; collaborates with business to identify requirements and optimize IT service portfolio.

Purpose and Objective:

SAP America, Inc. seeks an IT Business Services Senior Consultant (multiple positions available) at our Newtown Square, PA location to define, execute, and manage IT strategy, governance and standards along the dimensions people processes and technologies as well as all dimensions of the IT operating model.

Expectations and Tasks:

Drives and executes core central IT functions, e.g. Rollout of Policies and Governance, Training, Communication, Coaching, KPI definition and Measurement. Assures that the IT Governance topics are covered within the IT projects, IT products and IT internal processes in an appropriate way. Supports belonging escalations where necessary. Aligns with SAP internal functions which cover the same topics. Manages and supports the development of strategies that enable the achievement of corporate objectives and provides transparency on those. Plans, conceives, implements and tracks strategic and operational Change Management measures. Coaches on process and system changes. Identifies training demand, plans training activities, consults for training execution, executes training and tracks training success. Works closely with business to identify business requirements & needs for the provided services. Maintains a holistic view of the overall IT business service portfolio.

Qualifications

Education and Occupational Experience:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and six (6) years of progressive post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or related occupation. Alternatively, a Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field of study and four (4) years of experience in the job offered or related occupation.

Qualifications/Skills and Competencies Experience:

Experience must include four (4) years involving each of the following:

• Administering SAP S/4HANA, SAP NetWeaver, HANA Database, Suse Linux, and network loadbalancers;
• Leading end-to-end SAP OS/DB migrations and release upgrade projects;
• Designing and developing the Future state Architecture focusing on High Availability and disaster recovery;
• Analyzing S/4HANA data footprint, including server downsizing and upsizing; and
• Defining Service Plan, stakeholder management, governance, reporting, and risk and escalation management.

Compensation Range Transparency: The annual base salary range for this position is $127,525 - $196,010. SAP believes the value of pay transparency contributes towards an honest and supportive culture and is a significant step toward demonstrating SAP’s commitment to pay equity. SAP provides the annualized compensation range inclusive of base salary and variable incentive target for the career level applicable to the posted role. The targeted combined range for this position is $135,600 - $230,600. The actual amount to be offered to the successful candidate will be within that range, dependent upon the key aspects of each case which may include education, skills, experience, scope of the role, location, etc. as determined through the selection process. Any SAP variable incentive includes a targeted dollar amount and any actual payout amount is dependent on company and personal performance.
