Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate IT contracts with the Business requestor, Finance and Technology Services to develop terms from concept to execution.
  • Assist in budgeting by gathering contracts/invoices and identifying cost savings opportunities.
  • Support licensing, pricing, SLAs and vendor terms; maintain licensing reporting systems.
  • Prepare and record annual IT investments for budgeting and planning processes.
  • Collaborate with vendors and Accounts Payable to resolve invoice issues.

Full-time, dayshift, Monday - Friday 8:00am-4:00pm Central Time and willing to adjust as needed with leader approval. This role will be fully remote.

Pay Range

$35.50 - $53.25

Major Responsibilities
  • Supportsthe coordination of contracts (hardware, software, services, statement of works,etc.) with the Business requestor,Financeand relevant Technology Services Personnel todevelopmentthecontract businessterms (licensing, pricing, duration, deliverables, SLAs, etc.) frominitialconcept through to execution
  • Supportsthe sub-process to generate the IT Department Budget by gathering information (contracts, invoices, etc.) and recording the requests and data gathered.Assistinidentifyingbudget needs,validatespurchasing requests,identifypotential savings opportunities, variance analysis to HIT spend to keep alignment with IT Budget. Ensure contractual Service Level Agreements (SLAs) are adhered to. Maintenance and tracking of all contract issues from initiation to resolution with proper documentation.
  • Researchesand provides input into evaluation, selection, and contract negotiations for acquisitions. Provides input andmaintainsa licensing reporting system,reviewsand audits information to ensure proper licensing is maintained
  • Prepare, manage, and record annual category,sub categoryand IT supplier level investments for products and services for reporting and inputs into IT budgeting and strategic planning process. Improve IT spend management by evaluatingspendtodetermineif IT is using other than preferred vendors and communicating with business to promote benefits of using preferred vendors
  • Performing periodic audits of invoices to ensure vendor is charging negotiated contract prices or quotes; work with accounts payable team toassistin invoice reconciliation issues
  • Coordinate and process IT equipment and supply orders and deliveries with designated vendors.Submit IT equipment and supply requirements throughcontractsworkflow as applicable.
  • Overseesandleadsproposals and communications foridentifiedproduct/service opportunities. Negotiates with suppliers,researches,recommends, reviews, and completes business terms and conditions, and works with the Commercial Transactions Group to complete agreement.
  • Participate in periodic status update meetings with IT Owners and Business usersregardingcontract negotiations.
  • Actsas a resource for the project managers to ensure thatproject relatedstandards are beingutilized. Acts as a business resource by providing direction for various product processes (i.e.research, return merchandise authorization (RMAs), warranties, equipment quoteassistance).
  • Provides coaching and guidance to new and associate level team members

Education Required
  • Bachelor's Degree (or equivalent knowledge) in ComputerScience, orInformation Technology or Business or related.
Experience Required
  • Typicallyrequires 2– 4 years of experienceina Computer Science, Information Technology or Business Administration related field.
  • Including computer literacy with Microsoft Office Suite and experience in working with large-scale automated material management systems, demonstrated sourcing and negotiation experience with major software suppliers, and previous experience supporting IT systems on how they function.
Experience Preferred
  • Typically 3 or more years of Telecom experience.
  • Vendor management, Telecom experience, Finance experience is a plus.
  • Collaborate with telecom carriers, IT teams, finance and accounts payable.
  • Experience with analyzing and validating Telecom billing data across services such as DIA, Broadband, MPLS and other data circuits.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Required
  • Broad understanding of IT software licensing and hardware
  • Working knowledge of software asset management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the demonstrated ability to communicate well at all levels of the organization
  • Ability to handle sensitive issues, confidential agreements, keen political acumen, and an understanding of the political environment to know when to seek managementassistance.
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Procurement and technology business knowledge including robust understanding of contract terms (IT and other commercial terms) and contract execution
  • Demonstratedability to manage and follow-through on multiple projects/contracts simultaneously through process management skills
  • Ability to work with analysis tools such as Excel and ERP financials to analyze and present data
  • Knowledge of using a ticketing system to manage workload and provide updates to end users
  • Highly self-directed and innovative
  • Anintermediate level of understanding of the language and structure of technology contracts to suggest some redlines to an agreement
  • Ability to multitask, work independently and prioritize assignments to complete work ina timelyandaccuratemanner
  • Strong senseof ownership, urgency, intellectual curiosity, willingness to learn and improve
