Base pay range
$77.00/hr - $81.00/hr
Job Title: IT Business Analyst - Statistical Computing Environment (SCE)
Location: Remote
Duration: 12 months
Pay Range: $(77.00 – 81.00)/hr on W2
Shift: Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm EST
Note: Fully remote with expectation that 10 – 15% they will be asked to report onsite for meetings. Travel covered by client. Worker’s will be asked to use their personal laptops by way of a client VDI that will be granted to them upon completion of their screenings.
Core essential skill sets candidates must have to be considered for the role:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Clinical research and development
- Understanding GXP systems
Job Requirements:
- We are implementing a statistical compute environment which will allow enhanced data access controls and data and code management while working in the SAS, R and Python programming environments during the clinical trial phase of the R&D Process.
- As an IT Business Analyst for the Statistical Computing Environment (SCE) project, you will play a crucial role in bridging the gap between IT and business operations team.
- Your expertise in business analysis and application tools will contribute to successful project management, system implementation, and validation efforts.
- You will collaborate with cross-functional global teams to ensure project is executed efficiently and provide a technical solution to enhance efficiency while meeting quality standards and regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities:
Project Coordination and Validation:
- Serve as a liaison and business partner for the Clinical Programming business function.
- Analyze business needs and validate solutions with clients, working closely with global IT teams.
- Collaborate with the business, IT colleagues, and stakeholders to support existing processes and technologies in the Clinical Programming business area.
- Identify business requirements, analyze business processes, and assess their impact on application delivery and development.
- Develop, coordinate, and implement plans to test business and functional processes during system development and quality assurance testing.
Technical Management:
- Work with internal and cross-functional IT technical teams to manage tasks related to systems configuration, development, and interfaces.
- Analyze business and user needs, documenting requirements and translating them into proper system requirement specifications
- Provide ongoing support to end-users, troubleshoot issues, and address system-related queries.
Requirements:
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within the pharmaceutical or life sciences industry.
- Experience working in a GxP environment or with GxP systems.
Technical Skills:
- Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies.
- Strong understanding of system development life cycle (SDLC) and validation processes.
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements and quality standards in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Experience with statistical computing environments and related technologies (Advantage).
Soft Skills:
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
