Job summary

The Public Utility Commission of Texas is seeking an IT Business Analyst to support the Information Technology Department by analyzing business needs, gathering and documenting requirements, evaluating processes and workflows, and translating user needs into effective technology solutions.

This role will collaborate with agency leadership, staff, subject matter experts, developers, vendors, and other stakeholders throughout the system development lifecycle and will support user acceptance

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required for consideration.
• Minimum of three years of full-time paid work experience as a Business Analyst or in a related IT role supporting application development within an agile framework.
• Additional full-time work experience may be substituted for education on a year-for-year basis.

Responsibilities

• Analyze business needs, document requirements, and evaluate processes.
• Collaborate with leadership, staff, developers, vendors, and stakeholders across the SDLC.
• Support user acceptance testing, implementation, and ongoing system improvements.
