Job summary

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience in listed derivatives and equities, from trade capture through settlement.
• Experience working for a CCP, clearing house, or exchange is a plus.
• Comfortable working in an international environment.
• Familiar with the FIX protocol and trading system components.
• Experience with complex IT implementations with developers.

Responsibilities

• 5+ years experience working in the (listed) derivatives and equities industry, with full understanding of the post-trade lifecycle from trade capture through to settlement
• Experience working for a Central Counterparty (CCP), clearing house, or exchange is a plus
• Used to working in an international environment
• Experience with financial information exchange (FIX) protocol and other trading system components
• Experience working on complex IT implementations together with developers
• Proven drive to exceed expectations of internal and external stakeholders
• Ability to multi-task, set priorities and thrive in an externally imposed deadline driven environment
• Not afraid to dive into details and use your analytical skills
• You have affinity working with larger projects and can take the role of leading the change process, including engaging internal stakeholders and other parties involved. You document the progress and ensure that the parties involved meet expected objectives and ensure that external deadlines are met

Job Title: Business Analyst - Market Infrastructure

Location: Chicago, IL (60604) - Hybrid | On-site 3 days a week

Employment type: Full-time

Position Overview:

This position is working for a global team with representation in APCA, EMEA and USA that acts as the technical bridge between exchanges, brokers and other external parties and the company. By capturing and normalizing trade messages, they ensure that clients and stakeholders have visibility of their trade activity while meeting regulatory requirements.

As a Business Analyst in Market Infrastructure, you will work in a team that focuses on improving the performance of processes, systems and tooling. You will do this by translating product and process improvements into value propositions and end-to-end solutions.
