City of Leander IT leadership seeks an IT Business Office Manager to run the department’s budget, vendor relations, and contract coordination. You will report to the Assistant CIO, collaborating with CIO, IT, Finance, Procurement and leadership to track IT performance and manage the internal service fund for citywide technology purchases.

You will also act as a consultant to city departments, identifying IT business needs and proposing practical solutions while ensuring governance and compliance

Competenze

• Bachelor's degree in MIS, CS, Business, Finance or related field.
• 3+ years in IT areas: business administration, financial management, operations or vendor management solicitations.

Mansioni

• Monitor the department budget, track expenditures, review invoices and perform reconciliations.
• Coordinate technology purchases with procurement standards and ensure timely renewal of technology contracts.
• Facilitate technology solicitation, bid evaluations and contract awards.
• Coordinate with departments and vendors on delivery, negotiations and issue resolution; establish vendor management.
• Establish technology request intake to communicate scope, priorities, risks, decisions and project info.
• Act as advocate for stakeholders to ensure IT solutions meet city needs.
• Prepare forecasts, cost-benefit analyses and operational reports for leadership.
• Propose updated policies and IT budget/operations documentation.
• Ensure data analysis and reporting of performance metrics.
• Support city relations with courteous behavior and confidentiality; may respond afterhours.
• Travel regularly to meet with City staff in their locations.
• Perform other duties as required.
