Job summary

PSA BDP is seeking an experienced Cloud Infrastructure Engineer (AWS) to design, implement, and support our enterprise cloud environment. This role drives modernization of a hybrid infrastructure spanning AWS and on-premises data centers, partnering with Infrastructure, Security, DevOps, and Applications teams.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years in AWS, strong networking and security knowledge, and experience with Terraform or CloudFormation to automate delivery of scalable cloud services.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
5+ years of experience designing, implementing, and supporting AWS cloud infrastructure.
Strong knowledge of AWS networking, security, and core AWS services.
Experience with API Gateway, Lambda, load balancers, and hybrid cloud connectivity.
Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Experience with scripting languages such as PowerShell, Python, or Bash.
Experience with AWS Organizations, IAM Identity Center (AWS SSO), or multi-account AWS environments.
Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to work across teams.
AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or Professional.

Responsibilities

Design, deploy, and support AWS infrastructure, networking, and cloud services.
Build, implement, and optimize cloud solutions using AWS services including EC2, VPC, ECS, API Gateway, Lambda, ALB/NLB, Route 53, IAM, CloudWatch, Systems Manager, Secrets Manager, and S3.
Support hybrid connectivity between AWS and on-premises environments.
Develop and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform or CloudFormation.
Implement cloud security, monitoring, logging, automation, and best practices.
Evaluate and recommend cloud architecture, automation, and operational improvements for performance, security, reliability, and cost.
Troubleshoot production issues, root cause analysis, and corrective actions.
Support migration of applications and infrastructure to AWS.
Collaborate with multiple teams to deliver reliable and scalable cloud services.

Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Amazon ECS; Kubernetes experience is a plus.
Experience with CI/CD pipelines, Git-based version control, and infrastructure automation.
Experience supporting enterprise production environments and cloud migration initiatives.
