Job summary

Merck & Co. is offering a Finance Leadership Development Program role based in Rahway, NJ, aimed at building future leaders within Corporate Audit and Assurance Services.

The program covers finance, accounting, analytics, risk management and project opportunities, with a 24–36 month rotation across Finance and the broader organization. After completion, participants advance through opportunities across Finance and the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and problem-solving mindset with an auditor's skepticism.
• Willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 30%.

Responsibilities

• Participate in the execution of IT internal audit engagements to assess the adequacy of internal controls.
• Test IT general controls (ITGCs) to provide reasonable assurance that controls are designed and operating effectively.
• Audit to SOX requirements and the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
• Partner with management, clients, and other groups to complete all assigned audit work.
• Execute audit programs and work papers with established quality standards and timelines.
• Maintain professionalism and independence with integrity and quality.
